One of the most powerful tools in our advocacy tool belt is the Project Zip Code program which quantifies
the number of members your credit union serves and represents. Credit unions in your league’s footprint collectively serve 1 in 3 Nebraskans, and those numbers go a long way when advocating for credit union issues.
Project Zip Code is a secure and confidential program that counts your credit union’s members and matches them by Congressional district, state legislative district, and county. This data aids in our advocacy efforts by allowing us to show lawmakers exactly how many people would be affected by proposed legislation.
Through your League’s partnership with CUCollaborate, the process has been streamlined for credit unions to update their PZC numbers.
To take advantage of this program, credit unions simply log into the CUCollaborate website to securely upload their AIRES file. CUCollaborate will process the pertinent data for PZC.
*** As an enhanced benefit, participating credit unions will receive complimentary access to enriched data and insights from the impact report and demographics dashboards in the CUCollaborate AnalyzeCU platform. ***
If your credit union would like to upload to the PZC directly, you may do so here: https://www.americascreditunions.org/advocacy/actions-you-can-take/project-zip-code.
