The Nebraska Credit Union League (League) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Brandon Luetkenhaus will serve as the association’s next President and Chief Executive Officer. Luetkenhaus will succeed Scott Sullivan who is retiring on June 30th after thirty-six years of service at the League with twenty-five of those years as President/CEO.

His experience and leadership qualities are exceptional. He is well-known in the credit union industry and is a strong voice for all credit unions. He consistently advocates for the Credit Union’s interests within government and regulatory frameworks and serves as a liaison with government officials and monitors legislation. I look forward to watching Brandon lead the League to new heights.”

Luetkenhaus began his career at the League in 2004 as the association’s Director of Government Affairs and later as Chief Advocacy Officer in which he advocated the interests of credit unions while working closely with Nebraska’s credit unions, governmental bodies, and partners in the industry. Luetkenhaus currently serves on the American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL) Political Finance Strategy Working Group and is a graduate of the National Credit Union Foundation’s Credit Union Development Education (CUDE) program. In addition to his career at the League, Luetkenhaus previously owned and operated a successful franchise location of Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping in Omaha, Nebraska. Luetkenhaus is a native Nebraskan and resides in Gretna, Nebraska with his wife Emily. Luetkenhaus holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
