It is with extreme disappointment that we are announcing that the 2020 Annual Convention is being cancelled. Since the pandemic began our number one priority has been ensuring the health and safety of our member credit unions, staff, and business associates. So, amid the continued concerns surrounding the coronavirus and to do our part in helping to prevent the spread we have decided to cancel the League’s Annual Convention scheduled for October 15 & 16 in Omaha.
The Board of Directors will hold a brief business meeting as required by the Association’s bylaws on Friday, October 16th at 9:00 via Zoom to seat the newly elected directors.
We truly miss the interaction and camaraderie with our member credit unions and hoped to gather in Omaha for some much needed and long overdue networking, interaction, and fellowship. However, at the end of the day we determined the most prudent course of action was to cancel the event and begin making plans for next year’s Annual Meeting schedule for June 15 & 16, 2021 in Kearney.
We appreciate your understanding and indulgence as we all work together to navigate, as best we can, the new world order brought about by the pandemic.
