The Nebraska Credit Union League, in collaboration with CUNA and other state leagues, is excited to introduce the new CUNA-League System Small CU Webinar Series for credit unions with less than $75 million in assets.

Starting Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM CST, the live and recorded webinar series will discuss best practices relevant to small credit unions on hot topics including new member growth, technology best practices, succession planning, marketing, board engagement, and the list goes on. This weekly webinar series is sponsored by CUNA Mutual Group and is free for CUNA and NCUL member credit unions!

Each League will rotate hosting the weekly live sessions through Spring 2021, allowing recordings to be stored in a library of 30+ sessions packed with ideas and actionable information to access at any time.

The first webinars in the series include:

August 4 – New member growth: Learn from the best in the industry
CUNA Manager of Small CU Initiatives Tom Sakash will lead a panel discussion with small credit unions who are adding members like you WISH you were. They will share what’s working, and how you can replicate their success at your credit union. By the end of the webinar, you will absolutely be asking yourself: “What’s in the box?”

August 11 – Revising your budget following COVID-19 Pandemic
Never in history have we experienced change at the velocity we have seen in 2020. Any and all plans went out the window – including many budgets. Credit unions have had to react and respond to serve members in immediate new ways. So what’s next, and how do we start planning again? Budgeting post COVID19 will be critical for credit unions if we are to come out of this pandemic stronger then when we all went in. Join us for a panel discussion to share ideas and best practices as we work to budget in the new normal.

Plus:
–August 18 – Getting to know your members A LOT better and why DEI matters
–August 25 – Serving members online and best practices in fighting fraud
–September 8 – The history of our movement: One for your ENTIRE staff
–September 15 – Financial counseling for members facing post-COVID-19 pandemic financial stress.
–And more!

The Nebraska Credit Union League is the host for the November 10th webinar, “NCUA’s Learning Management Service,” presented by Kathryn Baxter.
