The Setting Every Community Up for Retirement (SECURE) Act, effective January 1, 2020, ushered in some of the most sweeping changes to retirement plans in decades. It was followed less than three months later by the passage of The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which also contained provisions changing some of the rules for retirement plans. Does your credit union have a good understanding of these new rules and their impact on IRAs?
