U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts, a member of the Senate Banking Committee, joined attendees for dinner.<\/p>\n

Sen. Ricketts highlighted bills aimed at cutting red tape and giving credit unions more flexibility to serve members.<\/p>\n
He also co-sponsored the Expanding Access to Lending Options Act and the Credit Union Board Modernization Act, both focused on long-needed updates.<\/p>\n
Ricketts also voiced support for the Renewing Opportunity in the American Dream (ROAD) to Housing Act, which aims to expand housing supply, improve affordability, and strengthen oversight of federal housing programs. He noted that housing affordability remains a bipartisanpriority and said credit unions play an important role in helping meet that need.![\"\"](\"http:\/\/www.ncultheaffiliate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Picture3.jpg\")
