The Nebraska Credit Union League (League) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Brandon Luetkenhaus will serve as the association\u2019s next President and Chief Executive Officer. Luetkenhaus will succeed Scott Sullivan who is retiring on June 30th after thirty-six years of service at the League with twenty-five of those years as President\/CEO.<\/p>\n
Robin Larsen, President\/CEO of Cobalt Credit Union and League Board Chairwoman said, \u201cI am excited to work with Brandon and appreciate his extensive League dedication.\u00a0 His experience and leadership qualities are exceptional.\u00a0 He is well-known in the credit union industry and is a strong voice for all credit unions.\u00a0 He consistently advocates for the Credit Union\u2019s interests within government and regulatory frameworks and serves as a liaison with government officials and monitors legislation.\u00a0 I look forward to watching Brandon lead the League to new heights.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the past twenty years, it has been my privilege to advocate for Nebraska\u2019s credit unions, and I am humbled by the Board\u2019s confidence in me to lead this organization into the future,\u201d said Luetkenhaus.<\/p>\n
Luetkenhaus began his career at the League in 2004 as the association\u2019s Director of Government Affairs and later as Chief Advocacy Officer in which he advocated the interests of credit unions while working closely with Nebraska\u2019s credit unions, governmental bodies, and partners in the industry. Luetkenhaus currently serves on the American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL) Political Finance Strategy Working Group and is a graduate of the National Credit Union Foundation\u2019s Credit Union Development Education (CUDE) program. In addition to his career at the League, Luetkenhaus previously owned and operated a successful franchise location of Farrell\u2019s eXtreme Bodyshaping in Omaha, Nebraska.\u00a0 Luetkenhaus is a native Nebraskan and resides in Gretna, Nebraska with his wife Emily. Luetkenhaus holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.<\/p>\n
