This year\u2019s winner has done an outstanding job raising funds for Credit Unions for Kids throughout the years.\u00a0 They raised $5800 this past year, which came to $.93 per member.\u00a0 Almost a $1 per member!\u00a0 Which is amazing!\u00a0 Some of the awesome things they do for CU4Kids include raffling Husker FB tickets, candy bar sales, children\u2019s book donations, jeans days, and they also received board approval on a new idea to contribute $1 of each foreign cardholder fee to CMN. They continue to promote CU4kids in their branches with posters and flyers as well as on their website.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/u><\/strong>\u201cSharon donated many of her award-winning pies each Thanksgiving, sewed casserole dish covers, made her famous strawberry rhubarb jam to sell, purchased a tile at the Specialty Pediatric Clinic with their name, and created hand-painted Christmas tree ornament balls to sell at Christmas.\u00a0 In 2011, John passed away and Sharon carried on supporting the meat raffle and it continued to be a tradition of our Annual Member Day Celebration. Family Focus FCU has had the privilege of continuing the tradition in their honor after Sharon passed away in 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n
