The Nebraska Credit Union League (League) launched its annual $50 in 50 Days \"\"campaign to raise funds for America\u2019s Credit Unions PAC (ACUPAC), the PAC of credit unions. The campaign asks credit union professionals and volunteers to donate $50<\/a> over the next 50 days for the benefit of ACUPAC. The goal for the campaign is to raise $2,000. ACUPAC is the third largest trade association federal PAC in the country and sixth largest federal PAC when measuring contributions made to congressional candidates. \u201cThe PAC is the bullhorn by which we elevate our voice on Capitol Hill to protect credit unions by stopping legislation that will harm credit unions and promoting legislation that will help them in serving their members,\u201d said Brandon Luetkenhaus, chief advocacy officer of the League.<\/p>\n
