\"\"The League is looking for good news stories from Nebraska credit unions! It\u2019s surprising how many \u201cgood news\u201d stories about member credit unions go untold.\u00a0The Resolute Group 2023 CUNA GAC Scholarship Video Contest aims to capture and share individual stories illustrating how Nebraska credit unions promote financial well-being for all through the voices of credit union members and staff.<\/p>\n

These stories should come in the form of video clips that bring the credit union differences to life. \u00a0We\u2019re not looking for professionally produced videos, but simple heartfelt messages that tell the credit union story.<\/p>\n

The Video Contest is open to Resolute Group Credit Unions (under $100 million in assets) located in Nebraska. The Contest opened at 8:00 a.m. on October 3, 2022, and ends at 5:00 p.m. on November 4, 2022.<\/p>\n

One credit union will win coach airfare, four nights lodging at the League\u2019s conference hotel, and one free registration to the 2023 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, D.C., February 26 to March 2 (up to a combined total of $3,000).<\/p>\n

The contest is being sponsored by the Credit Union Fund of Nebraska. The Credit Union Fund of Nebraska (CUFN) Board of Directors will hold a random drawing during a special meeting on November 8, 2022. The winner will be announced via social media November 9, 2022. Once the winning credit union is picked, the League\u2019s Chief Advocacy Officer, Brandon Luetkenhaus will contact the winner to notify them and facilitate their attendance at the conference.<\/p>\n
