The United States Senate confirmed President Trump\u2019s nomination of Kyle Hauptman to serve on the NCUA Board on December 2nd.\u00a0 Hauptman was nominated to fill the seat held by NCUA Board Member Mark McWatters whose term expired August of 2019.\u00a0 McWatters continued his service on the Board until late November when he resigned.\u00a0 Member Hauptman\u2019s term will run through August of 2025.\u00a0 Hauptman has vast experience on Capitol Hill and most recently served as economic advisor to Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas and as Staff Director of the Senate Banking Committees subcommittee on Economic Policy.\u00a0 Hauptman also previously worked on the Trump Transition Team, served at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, served on Mitt Romney\u2019s 2012 campaign, and was a fixed-income trader.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
