Alloya Corporate FCU has announced that its 2020 Credit Union Executive Leadership Symposium, slated for Sept. 10-11, will be held virtually.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a bittersweet but necessary decision to present our annual Leadership Symposium virtually this year,\u201d said Tim Bruculere, Alloya\u2019s SVP of membership. \u201cWe all look forward to gathering for this event each September, but COVID-19 presented us with the unique opportunity to create a virtual, more accessible rendition of our Symposium.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although credit union executives from across the nation will not be gathering in Chicago for Alloya\u2019s sixth annual symposium, the corporate said it looks forward to hosting the event online and providing the \u201csame great education\u201d to credit union leaders \u2013 free of charge this year.<\/p>\n

The event will include two half-days of online education, beginning Thursday, Sept. 10 at 9:30 a.m. with additional sessions planned for Friday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n

Agenda highlights include keynote speaker Ginger Hardage, founder of Unstoppable Cultures and a former SVP of culture and communications at Southwest Airlines; Lee Rubin, former captain of the Penn State football team; and a live panel discussion, \u201cThe Aftermath for Credit Unions: COVID-19 and the Presidential Election.\u201d<\/p>\n
