Ricketts Proclaims ICU Day in Nebraska"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Pete Ricketts issued a proclamation designating Thursday, October 17<sup>th<\/sup> as \u201cInternational Credit Union Day\u201d in Nebraska.\u00a0 Credit unions around the world are celebrating the 71<sup>st<\/sup> Anniversary of International Credit Union Day (ICU Day).\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>ICU Day is held on the third Thursday in October and has been celebrated since 1948 around the world.\u00a0 The day brings public awareness to not-for-profit credit unions and recognizes the extraordinary service that credit unions provide their member\/owners.<\/p>\n<p>The theme for this year\u2019s celebration is: Local Service.
