Jam the Unicam – A Success!

The Nebraska Credit Union League hosted it’s annual “Jam the Unicam” conference for Nebraska credit unions on Thursday, January 25th in Lincoln, Nebraska.  There were fifty-six (56) attendees representing eighteen (18) credit unions.

The half day conference began with lunch at the Governor’s Residence where Governor Pete Ricketts spoke to the group of credit union professionals and volunteer directors about his Administration’s legislative priorities and the current state of the State.  Following lunch, attendees heard from a great lineup of speakers including NCUA Supervisor Examiner of Region 4 Steve Worden, Nebraska Department of Banking & Finance Director Mark Quandahl, Banking Committee Chairman Senator Brett Lindstrom, League Lobbyists Julia Plucker and Brandon Luetkenhaus, an advocacy panel made up of Nebraska credit union professionals, and former State Senator Colby Coash who urged credit unions to tell their story.  To conclude the conference, the League hosted a reception for Nebraska State Senators at Billy’s Restaurant.
