Another Annual Meeting in the Rear View

Kansas Corporate hosted our 63rd Annual Membership Meeting on the front-end of the joint NCUL/KCUA Annual Meeting in Kansas City, MO, and it, like the league meetings, made quite a Splash!

Guests from Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, and Missouri traveled in a day prior to the league event to kick-off the almost week long affair at Benton’s, the windowed restaurant atop Crown Center, with dinner, drinks, friends, and fun. Thursday morning guests gathered for breakfast before meeting with colleagues, volunteers, and staff to recount 2014 accomplishments, network, and plan for 2015.

Nebraska credit union faces were plenty, from the speaker podium to the meeting seats. Nebraska volunteers include Tom Kjar, KCCU Board Chair, Kenn Miller, Board Member, Scott Winkelmann, Credit Committee Member, and Jerry Barnett, Nominations Committee Member. A special thank you to these Nebraska folks for their time serving Kansas Corporate Credit Union and our member credit unions!

As our meeting ended, the joint NCUL/KCUA meeting began – a tag-team effort, for sure! Your very own Bob Tinglehoff, was the winner of our booth giveaway – a $100 VISA Gift Card – and the popcorn was literally flying out of the giant Red SOLO cups. It was great to mix, mingle, make a few hundred sandwiches and a giant splash in the City of Fountains!

Many thanks to all who attended our meeting or visited us at our booth during the league meeting, including our friends at the NCUL. We appreciate our relationship, your membership, friendship and support!
