June 3, 2011 – Des Moines, IA
The Nebraska Credit Union League recently entered into a strategic partnership with Iowa-based regulatory compliance firm PolicyWorks to provide on-going compliance support for Nebraska credit unions.
Scott Sullivan, CEO of NCUL, made the announcement at the NCUL annual meeting on June 3, 2011. Under the agreement, PolicyWorks will provide NCUL’s member credit unions with regular, ongoing compliance information, as well as answer regulatory questions.
“When examining the best way to ensure our members have timely access to important regulatory information, the decision to partner with PolicyWorks was obvious,” said Sullivan. “This relationship provides our members with access to a team of experienced compliance experts whom I know will provide a high level of service.”
As a part of the partnership, NCUL will have a co-branded, secure page on PolicyWorks’ website, which will house a library of compliance information in addition to the various communications that will be sent to NCUL members. PolicyWorks’ compliance staff will also be available to assist with individual questions that come in from NCUL members.
“We’ve had a strong relationship with NCUL and its members for quite a while,” said Justin Hupfer, CEO of PolicyWorks. “So, we were excited about figuring out a way to serve as the main compliance resource for them. There are efficiencies that can be realized in the delivery of compliance services, and this is a great example.”
A subsidiary of the Iowa Credit Union League, PolicyWorks provides solutions to meet credit unions’ regulatory compliance needs. PolicyWorks provides Bank Secrecy Act Audits, Website Compliance Audits, Lending Audits, Full Scale Compliance Audit Services, 24/7 Federal Compliance Support, Vendor Management Services, and Regulatory Training.
