NCUL Provides Mad City Money to OPS Students

The League continues to partner with the Omaha Public Schools Academy of Business (AOB) program by bringing Mad City Money to their sophomores.  On February 10th, 70 sophomores from three area high schools, participated in the interactive financial budgeting simulation.  Each student was given a profile which included an occupation, salary, spouse, child, and of course…debt.  In 90 minutes, they travel from merchant to merchant and buy necessities while trying to stay within their monthly budget.

Special thanks to all the volunteers from UNO, the AOB advisory board, and Centris FCU for being the merchants during the simulation.
