Invest in Financial Wellness to Build a Stronger Credit Union

Despite an improvement in the U.S. economy, money continues to be a top stressor for Americans, according to a recent survey released by the American Psychological Association (APA).  “This year’s survey shows that stress related to financial issues could have a significant impact on Americans’ health and well-being,” APA CEO and Executive Vice President, Norman Anderson, stated.

Stress about money and finances impacts both physical and emotional health.  Nearly 1 in 5 Americans have either considered skipping or skipped going to the doctor when they needed healthcare, and almost a third of adults with partners reported that money is a major source of conflict in their relationship. {Read The Full Article}

ATM/POS Bill (LB 348) Passes Unicameral on a 49-0 Vote

On May 7th, the Nebraska Legislature passed the ATM/POS bill (LB 348) on a 49-0 vote and Governor Ricketts subsequently approved on May 13th.

LB 348 as amended:

1)  Switch providers can charge differing switch fees to their FI clients.
