Safe For Sale

The University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union has 2 money safes and 4 teller under counter steel units for sale. One safe is 46 ¾” tall x 40” wide x 33 inches deep with 2 locking drawers and a cash safe on the left side and 5 locking cash drawer slots and 1 open slot on the right side. The second safe is 35 inches tall x 39 ½” wide x 30 inches deep with 5 locking cash drawer slots and 1 open slot on the left and a cash safe on the right. The under counter steel contains 3 teller cash drawers and one storage cabinet in each unit. There is also desks, chairs and other office furniture available for sale. NEFE High School Financial Curriculum — All New Version

The National Endowment for Financial Education has released its newest version of the High School Financial Planning Program’s curriculum this month.

The new version has changed significantly, going from one large student workbook, to individual
workbooks for each unit. The new version also includes a larger section on identity theft.
The trainings are free to teachers, credit union staff, and community members who
have an interest in teaching youth the tools they need to make sound financial decisions now
and in the future.

NCUL and the University Extension Office across the state have stepped forward to sponsor the training for the attendees. The League is working on a training schedule for the new materials.

Four Points FCU Hires New CEO

Donald “Donnie” Price has nearly 25 years of experience in the financial institution industry. After four years in the Navy, where he served aboard ship as part of the engineering crew, Donnie began his career as a teller at Bank of America in San Francisco, while attending City College. Donnie soon transferred back to Nebraska to work full-time, in a variety of positions, for a local Omaha financial institution while finishing his studies. Member Growth Spurt: Half a Million in March

Credit unions gained half a million new members in March, bringing total membership to 95.2 million, according to the Credit Union national Association’s (CUNA) Credit Union Monthly Estimates.
