Credit Unions Give Back

CUs Get a Special Tour of Hospital

Credit unions that have raised money for CMN and Children’s Hospital and Medical Center got a special treat on Thursday, June 2nd. To kick off the 2011 Annual Meeting and Convention, credit unions were invited to a Backstage Tour of Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. The child-friendly ambulance, our current sponsorship, was parked outside the SPC (Specialty Pediatric Center) for everyone to learn about and climb inside. The ambulance crew was there to explain the procedures and the equipment on the ambulance.

Family Focus Wins Outstanding Achievement Award

The Credit Unions for Kids Outstanding Achievement Award is the highest individual honor that can be bestowed upon a credit union in Nebraska in recognition of their involvement in Credit Unions for Kids fundraising.

Family Focus Federal Credit Union has been an avid supporter for Credit Unions for Kids. This credit union managed to raise $1.62 per member with a variety of events which included another tile for the Specialty Pediatric Center, raffles, Penny Wars, a Walkathon, chocolate bar sales, and bake sales. Senate Resolution introduced with Johanns and Nelson as co-sponsors
