DeBoer Receives Professional of the Year Honor

The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) has named SAC FCU President/CEO, Gail DeBoer as its 2011 Professional of the Year. 

This year’s winners will be honored at NAFCU’s 44th Annual Conference in San Francisco, June 28 – July 2.

League Board Election Results Announced

Two new members will join the League Board of Directors, NCUL President/CEO Scott Sullivan announced May 12th. They are Dee Schriner, President, Kearney FCU (Geographic District 3); and Chris Nielsen, President of Nebraska State Employees (Geographic District 2). Schriner and Nielsen ran in uncontested races.

Mary Johnson, President of Omaha Police FCU was re-elected to the Board representing credit union in Asset Category B. The Board of Directors also appointed Stan Fraser, President of Nebraska Energy FCU to fill the unexpired Board term of Helen Dafney who stepped down from the Board earlier this year.
